Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Culr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use the Service. Culr is operated by Culr, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our").

Description of Service

Culr is a judgment-driven personal focus system that helps you manage attention across your email, calendar, meetings, and messages. The Service evaluates incoming signals, prioritizes what matters, and helps you focus by filtering noise.

Account Registration

To use Culr, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

Connected Services

Culr integrates with third-party services (email, calendar, messaging) to provide its functionality. When you connect these services:

  • You authorize us to access data from these services as described in our Privacy Policy
  • You represent that you have the right to grant this access
  • You remain responsible for complying with the terms of those third-party services
  • We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of data from connected services

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
  • Use the Service in ways that could harm other users or third parties

Intellectual Property

Culr and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Culr, Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data; by using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

Subscription and Payment

Culr may offer free and paid subscription tiers. For paid subscriptions:

  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' notice before your next billing cycle
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any interruption or delay in service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be error-free, or that any errors will be corrected. Culr helps prioritize information but should not be relied upon as the sole source for critical decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Culr, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Culr, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you disagree with changes, you may close your account.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
